How does it work?
It's simple: When you click on the “Checkout” button you will be directed to the PayPal website (this may take a few seconds). On PayPal you can pay in complete security by bank card or via your PayPal account.
When you have paid, PayPal sends you back to the Bitedition website and we instantaneously show a page containing the links for downloading the files you have ordered.   Back to top

Which payment methods do you accept?
Payment is made on the PayPal secure website. However, you don’t need to have an account with PayPal!
Depending on the country, PayPal accepts the following credit cards, among others: Visa, Master Card, American Express, JCB, Diners Club and cards specific to each country.

Is payment secure?
Yes. Payments on PayPal are secured by SSL (Secure Socket Layer); you can see this by the fact that the address begins with “https” and that your browser shows the pictogram of a padlock.   Back to top

Which format do the e-books have?
Bitedition offers only e-books as PDF (Portable Document Format) files. PDF has the advantage to be compatible with every operating system (Macintosh, Windows, Android) and any computer, notebook, tablet as well as smartphone can open it!
Should your device nevertheless encounter problems to open the file, please check that the needed software is loaded onto the device. You need a software like Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free on the Adobe (adobe.com ) website.   Back to top

How much time do I have to download my purchases?
The links shown on the “Your order” page to which PayPal redirects you after payment remain active for 24 hours from the moment of your order.   Back to top

Downloading was interrupted and/or damaged the files. What do I do?
You have 24 hours (from the time of your order) in which you can again try to download your purchases. If the problem persists beyond that period, please contact us by email at the following address: support at bitedition dot net.   Back to top

Does Bitedition apply Digital Rights Management (DRM)?

What you should do immediately after the download!
Once you have downloaded your files, it’s a good idea to save immediately a copy of it on another medium (CD, DVD, USB key or external hard disk). Your purchases are then totally secure.   Back to top
